This course exposes public sector officers to policy, policy-making, policy implementation and policy analysis. It equips delegates with the knowledge to diagnose and identify public policy issues, possible problems that can arise in policy formulation and implementation and needs with regard to current situations.
After completion of this course participants should be able to :
>identify and consult with stakeholders to determine needs, expectations and demands;
>suggest solutions to the problems that may arise when implementing policies in practice;
>facilitate the solving of problems to ensure optimal and accessible service delivery;
>solve basic operational problems relating to service delivery in order to achieve operational objectives; and –
